Establishing Amusement License Rates

Be it enacted and ordained by the Borough of Bolivar and it is hereby enacted and ordained by the authority of the same.

Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the owners, lessees or managers of any theater, bowling alley or pool room in the Borough of Bolivar, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania to operate for profit unless on annual license fee in the amount of ($50) fifty dollars be paid to the said borough. Such annual license fee is to begin as of June 1, 1941. The license fee for the first year is to be paid on or before September 1, 1941, and thereafter to be paid on or before June 1st.

Section 2. Persons violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of from ten (10) dollars to thirty (30) dollars plus costs, and in default thereof shall be sentenced to 5 days in the Bolivar Borough Jail or 30 days in the Westmoreland County Jail.

Section 3. Anything in any prior Ordinance which is in conflict with this Ordinance is hereby repealed.
